Privacy policy

1. Who we are

Traucare B.V. (Dutch Chamber of Commerce no. 76607631) develops and operates the Traucare EHR platform. Traucare B.V. is the controller for data processed through this marketing website. For patient and client data within the platform itself, your practice is the controller and Traucare is the processor.

2. Contact details you provide

When you fill in the contact form, request a demo or email us, we process the details you provide yourself: name, practice name, email address, phone number and your message. We use these details solely to respond to your request, schedule a demo or answer your question.

We do not share these details with third parties and do not use them for marketing emails without your explicit consent.

3. Website analytics (with your consent)

We measure how our website is used in order to improve its content and user experience. For this we use Google Analytics 4, but only if you give consent through the cookie banner. If you do not give consent, we do not load Google Analytics and no analytics cookies are set.

With your consent, Google Analytics processes, among other things:

• Which page was visited (e.g. /freelancers)
• The type of device and browser (mobile, tablet or desktop)
• The referring website or search engine
• A shortened, anonymised IP address (IP anonymisation is enabled)
• Date and time of the visit

We have switched off advertising and personalisation signals: the data is not used for advertising and is not linked to other Google services. More details about the cookies involved, and how to withdraw your consent, can be found in our cookie policy.

4. What we do not do

This website does not use:

• Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag or similar advertising pixels
• HubSpot, Hotjar, Intercom or other SaaS tracking tools
• Cookies for advertising or profiling
• Analytics before you have given consent

The standard we apply to protecting client data in our platform, we apply consistently to our own website.

5. Purposes and legal basis

We process contact details on the basis of your consent (by filling in the form) and our legitimate interest in following up on requests (Article 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR). We process website analytics through Google Analytics solely on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time through "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

6. Retention periods

We keep contact requests for a maximum of 24 months after the last contact, unless a customer relationship arises for which longer retention is legally required or justified. We keep data in Google Analytics for a maximum of 14 months, after which it is deleted automatically.

7. Your rights

For the personal data you have provided yourself (contact form), you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, and you may object to processing. Send your request to privacy@traucare.nl. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
